Festering Romance page 8 pencils/inks comparison

For today, an older page that took me forever to circle around and get to inking: Festering Romance page 8!

If you received the Festering Romance preview at SPX, you’ve already seen the pencils, but hey, now you get to see the inks! EXCITING.

I also just made my new handwriting font so I’m SURE AS HECK gonna use it to type copyright stuff or whatever! BAM!

The first Festering Romance fanart?!

Could it be?!?!

Yes it is, the first Festering Romance fanart! Kyle Magnan busted this out on a bit of receipt paper and it delights me. Janet, Paul, and Carol have rarely looked more dapper! Hopefully it will be the first of many?!?!

… I want to do when this book is OVER:

1) Sleep.
2) Laze about and not feel guilty.
3) Clean clean clean.
4) Organize organize organize.
5) Eat steak. Lots of STEAK.

…not necessarily in that order!

Also, in recent news, Festering Romance has gotten mentions at Newsarama (here) and Comic Book Resources (here and here)! However, Newsarama has stated that Jamie S. Rich is writing the book which is not true, so don’t believe that part! Bad, Newsarama, bad!

AND, Festering Romance is now available for preorder on Amazon.com (although the synopsis is a bit off)! Heck, go preorder it now!

AND the tentative cover has been prepared for Previews:

The logo and text will probably be tweaked before the final release.

But I guess the moral of all this news is that Festering Romance stuff is happening, so from now on I’ll be updating the Festering Romance website more with news and info. The website design will undergo a bit of an overhaul before the site is totally finished, but the site is currently functional and information spouting. Take a visit!

Things are still chugging along, hoping for everything to be finished in May. Right now, I’m having to ink 4 pages a day, probably more than that in a week or so… Ah well. C’est la vie.
